Every style has a chance of guard breaking, Red style can break the yellow and yellow can break blue.(im not sure of this, also every server uses his custom rules and settings for the game and some things can be different depending of whitch server are you playing) The swings range is increased with the power of the style. The style changes the durations and speed of the swings.
One can make multiple swing one after the other by pressing WASD buttons and attack after a swing ends. So you can press A and attack button, in that way you will to a swing right to left, same way if you press D, swing left to right.
